Delta Thailand and DIPROM Move Forward with the 11th Angel Fund to Advance Thai Startup Innovation

BANGKOK - March 17, 2026 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM) under the Ministry of Industry, continues to support the Delta x DIPROM Angel Fund 2026 through innovation mentorship, aiming to strengthen Thailand’s startup ecosystem and accelerate innovation-driven economic growth.

The Angel Fund program supports Thai startups by providing funding support and facilitating business matching for Proof of Concept (PoC) activities under the theme “Angel Fund: Scaling Commercial Ventures.” The initiative enables startups to work closely with private sector and industrial partners to test and refine innovative solutions in real market environments before scaling commercially.

The 11th edition of the Delta Angel Fund focuses on accelerating the commercialization of core technologies developed by researchers by supporting their transformation into company ventures from leading universities in Thailand. Six companies join the program this year, each based on research innovations developed in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, and King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. The initiative reflects Delta’s continued engagement with Thai institutions to develop the country’s innovation ecosystem.

The project delivers value across multiple dimensions, including access to funding, industry expertise, market opportunities, and investor networks. In 2026, Delta Thailand supports startups with strong innovation potential with THB 5 million, particularly those related to global challenges such as climate change, health, and environmental sustainability.

“Through the Angel Fund program, which Delta Thailand has supported since 2016, we have helped strengthen more than 230 Thai startups, provided over THB 38 million in funding, and contributed to the creation of more than 1,000 jobs. This year, we also expand the program through collaboration with Shark Tank Thailand, helping broaden startups’ access to investor networks and business insights, and supporting their transition from innovation to market,” said Yongyuth Pakduangjan, Senior Director, Government and Public Affairs, Delta Thailand.
