KMUTT Students Explore Delta Electronics Thailand’s Smart Manufacturing Ecosystem to Bridge Theory with Practice

BANGKOK – November 24, 2025 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed a delegation of 60 students and faculty members from the Department of Control System and Instrumentation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) to its advanced manufacturing facility at Wellgrow Industrial Estate on November 17, 2025. The educational visit offered participants an immersive experience in Delta’s world-class Smart Manufacturing ecosystem, connecting academic theory with real-world industrial applications.

During the visit, the KMUTT delegation was hosted by Ms. Supawadee, Senior Manager at Delta Thailand, who led an in-depth tour and presentation on the company’s integrated manufacturing innovations. Students observed digitalized production lines, intelligent automation systems, and sustainable industrial practices that exemplify Delta’s leadership in smart and energy-efficient manufacturing.

The program was designed to enhance students’ understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and instrumentation, key disciplines at the heart of Thailand’s Industry 4.0 transformation. By witnessing the use of data-driven technologies, robotics, and precision control in live production environments, students gained valuable insights into how innovation, efficiency, and sustainability converge in modern manufacturing operations.

This initiative also served as an important platform for academic–industry collaboration, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industrial practice. Through hands-on exposure and expert engagement, the experience strengthened students’ readiness to apply their technical knowledge in real production settings and develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed in the evolving manufacturing landscape.
