Delta Electronics (Thailand) Celebrates Outstanding Young Engineers at Delta Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025

BANGKOK – September 17, 2025Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL., a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, successfully hosted Delta Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025 at King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), marking the fifth anniversary of the Delta Academy program at KMUTNB and the tenth year of the program in Thailand. The ceremony honored outstanding engineering students from seven leading Thai universities and highlighted Delta’s commitment to developing the country’s next generation of industrial automation leaders.

The event was attended by prominent government, academic and industry leaders, including Mr. Suthiket Thatpitakkul, Deputy Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI); Prof. Dr. Thanin Silpcharu, President of KMUTNB; Prof. Dr. Teravuti Boonyasopon, Chairman of the Council Committee of KMUTNB; Prof. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, Director of Techno Park at KMUTNB; and Dr. Punpermsak Aruni, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). Representatives from the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) also joined the celebrations.

The Delta Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025 celebrated the achievements of talented students from seven leading universities such as KMUTNB, KMUTT, KMITL, Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Mahidol University, and Burapha University with over 1,400 participants across the country. This year marked a significant expansion of the program, with recognition extending from mechanical engineering to additional disciplines including electrical, electronics, instrumentation and control, mechatronics, and embedded systems.

Course graduates were selected through evaluations by Delta’s Industrial Automation Trainers team and university professors, based on their technical achievements, creativity, problem-solving capabilities, and ability to apply industrial automation knowledge to real-world challenges.

The Delta Academy program directly supports the Thai government’s vision for Thailand 4.0 and the 20-Year National Strategy, which identify automation, robotics, digitalization, and AI as priority growth sectors for the nation’s future. The initiative also contributes to Thailand’s plan to develop 280,000 high-tech professionals within five years, supported by a 250% tax deduction incentive for companies investing in workforce training.

In line with the National AI Master Plan 2021–2027, Delta upgraded Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems at partner universities in 2025, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with the latest automation technologies relevant to emerging industries such as AI and data centers.

To date, Delta has invested more than THB 30 million in laboratories, student development, and university collaborations, reinforcing its long-term commitment to education and industrial development in Thailand.

The Delta Academy Graduation Ceremony 2025 reaffirmed the importance of collaboration between industry and academia in preparing Thailand’s workforce for the digital era. By recognizing excellence and fostering practical learning, Delta Thailand continues to contribute to the country’s long-term aspirations in Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and sustainable development.
