Sales Manager – Data Center Products & Solutions
· Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets for data center infrastructure products and solutions (power, cooling, racks, monitoring, etc.).
· New Business Development: Identify and approach potential Vietnam datacenter developers. Establish initial contacts, qualify leads, and convert them into active customers.
· Account Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (CXOs, CIOs, planning specialist, purchase team). Ensure long-term account retention and expansion.
· Solution-Oriented Selling: Understand customer pain points in data center planning and operation. Propose customized data center and edge infrastructure solutions to address those needs.
· Bid & Negotiation Management: Lead the full sales cycle including proposals, contract terms, pricing negotiations, and deal closure. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet both customer requirements and company margin goals.
· Market & Customer Intelligence: Monitor industry trends in telecom and colocation data center trends. Gather intelligence on competitor activity, new projects, and technology trends to feed into product and go-to-market strategy.
· Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with presales engineers, technical consultants, channel partners, and regional product teams to ensure seamless customer experience from design consultation to post-sales support.
· Reporting & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer activity reports, and CRM updates. Provide regular updates on key accounts and pipeline status to management.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom, colocation sales, with a proven track record in selling data center or ICT infrastructure solutions. Strong understanding of Vietnam telecom and data center eco system.
· Sales Acumen: Strong skills in consultative selling, project pursuit, solution proposal, and contract negotiation.
· Network: Existing contacts and familiarity with any of key telecom operators and colocation providers (FPT, VNG, CMC, VNPT, Mobifone, Viettel…) is a strong advantage.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
· Mindset: Self-motivated, customer-centric, entrepreneurial, and capable of working independently in a cross-cultural environment.
