Sales Manager Factory Automation Solution

Job Description

Purpose:

  • We are hiring a bright and hard-working talent who is able to learn quickly and ready to make a contribution to the company’s growth in our work with key customers and industry development in local market. This is a direct sales position focused on the sale of factory automation solutions such as energy management system, carbon emission management, facility management and control system based on SCADA, green building, energy saving and audit solutions and so on. As a Factory Automation Solution Sales Engineer, your role would involve providing technical expertise and selling FA solutions to manufacturing facilities and industrial customers. You'll be responsible for understanding their specific needs and challenges and proposing tailored automation solutions that can save energy and improve productivity, efficiency, and overall operations.


Your main role is to:

  • Identify and engage with potential customers in the manufacturing and industrial sectors and implement company business plans to achieve annual sales target
  • Conduct on-site visits to understand their existing processes, challenges, and solution requirements
  • Build positive and strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations in target vertical market according to Delta’s strategy plan and generate revenue.
  • Working closely with internal team to negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure the business.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new FA solution eco-system
  • Responsible for the specific solution needs of customers and manage sales pipeline, new opportunities and forecast
  • Communicate and coordinate with engineer to provide customers with professional and technical proposal
  • Coordinating with engineering, project management, and support teams to ensure seamless implementation of the proposed solutions and excellent after-sales support.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, potential clients, and emerging trends in the factory automation industry.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Preparing presentations and professional proposals that highlight the value of Delta solutions and services

 

Who are we looking for?

  • Master or bachelor in Electronic Engineering , Industrial Automation or related automation major
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably in the factory automation industry.
  • In-depth understanding of factory automation technologies, including VFD, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, power quality, EMS and sensors.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP) and programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, C++, Python) is advantageous.
  • Strong technical communication, coordination, negotiation and influencing skill with customers, good customer service awareness and high business behavior and processing ability to close deals effectively
  • Willing to travel when required by business in the nation or Southeast Asia region and can work under high pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences and ability to create compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, staying updated with changing technologies and market trends.
  • Experience in project management, ensuring successful execution of automation projects from concept to completion will be priority.
  • Computer skill in Microsoft office Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook is a must.
  • Be good at English reading/writing/listening/speaking. Mandarin is a plus
