R&D System Engineer (EE Background) - Telecom Power Systems Business Unit

Job Description

Scope of Work:

2025

  • Study Delta data center products such as UPS, UPS battery sizing, rPDU, DCIM, etc.

  • Support tender requirements related to UPS and electrical sections.

  • Assist in pre-sales proposals for hyperscale and PoD projects.

  • Prepare single-line diagrams, voltage drop simulations, and full electrical proposals.

  • Develop the UPS Skid project for MEA.

  • Learn and apply ETAP software within Delta operations.

2026

  • Support telecom power transfer or development once DET13 (BP6) becomes available.

  • Handle design and support of power core, indoor power, and outdoor power systems.


Skills Required

  • Basic knowledge in Electronics or Power Electricity (either one).

  • Ability to design AC/DCDC/DC, or OPA circuits and layout (preferred).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).

  • Strong learning motivation and enthusiasm — particularly for new Data Center hyperscale liquid cooling technologies.

  • Proactive, smart, and confident in handling complex technical questions.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with strong circuit analysis skills, or Master’s degree in Power Electronics or related field.

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience.

  • Solid background in electrical design and power electronics theory.

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Demonstrated professional attitudehigh responsibility, and strong teamwork mindset.
