Strong background in the field of:
Utilize FMEA (DFMEA/PFMEA) to identify design and process defects and drive design optimization.
Acquire structured logical analysis tools such as 5Why, Fishbone diagram, Is/Is Not (separation analysis), etc.
Be capable of independently leading the 8D problem-solving process and promoting the thorough improvement of issues during the R&D and trial production stages.
Have DOE (experimental design) awareness to verify key parameters and be able to conduct data analysis using SPC (statistical process control).Verbal and written communications skills in English, knowing Chinese is a plus
Able to travel oversees China.
Responsibility:
I. Quality Assurance during Design Phase
Participate in the design review of power modules to ensure that the design meets quality and reliability requirements
Promote design risk assessment (such as DFMEA), assist in identifying potential failure modes and formulating preventive measures
Review design output documents (such as specifications, BOM, drawings) to ensure clear quality requirements
II. New Product Introduction (NPI) Quality Management
Support quality monitoring and problem tracking during sample trial production and engineering verification (EVT/DVT/PVT) stages
Assist in developing process quality control points (such as Control Plan, SOP, QC tools)
Promote quality risk assessment and improvement before mass production (such as yield analysis, DOE, process capability analysis)
III. Handling and Improving Quality Issues
Lead the analysis and handling of quality issues during the R&D stage (such as test failures, customer complaints)
Use quality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) for root cause analysis and drive improvements
Follow up on the implementation and effectiveness verification of improvement measures to prevent the recurrence of problems
IV. Quality Data Management and Reporting
Establish and maintain quality data (such as yield, failure rate, test pass rate), conduct trend analysis
Regularly produce quality reports to support R&D decisions and management review
Assist in establishing quality KPIs to drive the quality awareness and goal achievement of the R&D team
V. Quality System and Compliance Support
Ensure that the R&D process complies with quality management systems and safety regulations such as ISO, IATF, IEC
Support internal audits and customer audits, prepare relevant quality documents and technical explanations
Promote standardization of quality processes and continuous improvement (such as document management, process optimization)
VI. Supplier Quality Collaboration
Participate in supplier selection and technical evaluation to ensure that their quality capabilities meet the requirements of power modules
Assist suppliers in introducing quality standards and monitor their incoming material quality performance
Handle supplier quality issues and drive improvements and verification
