Legal Supervisor (Bangpoo)

Job Description

Your main role is to:

Litigations:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and revising notice letters, settlement agreements, and a plaint, petitions, summons for submitting to the court.
  • Getting involved in all litigation and dispute resolution for legal proceedings of the courts, to protect the organization's interests.
  • Liaise with the courts, government authorities, and private agencies related as well as coordinating with external law firms and external lawyers.
  • Summary of litigations and disputes monthly basis.

Support HR work related: 
  • Support drafting, reviewing, and revising warning letters, and terminate letters in line with company rules and regulations (in TH/EN languages).
  • Provide advice and legal opinion on Labor Law (in TH/EN languages).
  • Coordinate and communicate any legal concerns to HR team and all internal departments related (in TH/EN languages).

Contract Work:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal contracts, letters of agreement, and other documents related (in TH/EN languages) as well as provide legal advice on the legal risks of business activities, practices, and transactions to protect the organization’s legal and business interests;

Registration Work: 
  • Registering business data and certification documents e.g., Company Registration, Shareholders’ list with government sector and Vat Registration with Revenue Department, etc.

Supporting legal documents related: 
  • Updating a new law policy/laws/regulations that significantly impact the company business.
  • Review, revise, and draft all types of announcements, procedures, and policies in line with company policies and guidelines (in TH/EN languages).
  • Translate legal documents from Thai to English or English to Thai (if necessary).

Etc.
  • Providing legal advice to ensure that the company’s business operation complies with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Providing legal and compliance advice and support to legal/compliance issues.
  • Perform general administrative tasks e.g. save, print, file and upload ongoing/ completed works in the internal systems.
Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree or Masters of laws.
  • Lawyer License.
  • Having at least 5 years of experience as an in-house lawyer or legal field.
  • Good command of English both written and reading skills.
  • Good knowledge of Corporate law, Labor laws, Criminal laws, Civil Laws.
  • Good knowledge of HR such as the labor union field.
  • Experience Dispute Resolution and Litigation, mediation and lawsuit practice 3 years
  • Knowledge in defense strategy by technic.
  • Strong attention to detail and flair for spotting mistakes, analyzing and resolving problems.
  • Proactive personality; polite and excellent manners
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Well organized, and accurate in work.
  • Maintain Confidentiality and Honest.
  • Able to work up country and work efficiently under pressure demanding situations.
