Facility Engineer

What you'll be doing

• Manage and maintain the electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and auxiliary equipment, to ensure uninterrupted operations

• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and components

• Identify and resolve electrical issues and malfunctions promptly, minimising downtime and disruptions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement electrical system upgrades, modifications, and new installations

• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety regulations and industry standards

• Provide technical guidance and support to production and maintenance teams

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance energy efficiency and optimise electrical system performance

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Facility Electrical Engineer, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector

• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, drawings, and technical specifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems

• Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and industry best practices

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
