R&D Product Development Engineer - FMBG

As a Product Development Engineer (PD), you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end development of new products—from concept through design validation to mass production.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, PM, and manufacturing NPI team to ensure products meet customer requirements, cost targets, and project timelines.

This role requires strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage technical challenges and align cross-department efforts throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead new product development from concept through mass production.

2. Coordinate with R&D, quality, and manufacturing teams to align product specifications and timelines.

3. Track and manage project progress, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones.

4. Review product BOMs and specifications to ensure alignment with design intent and cost targets.

5. Support and coordinate ECN (Engineering Change Notice) processes across functions.

6. Conduct risk assessment and support design validation through cross-functional collaboration.

7. Collect and analyze customer or market feedback for product improvement.

8. Early involved in design related mockup sample manufacture and verification

9. Familiar with product related process and device and can drive small quantity prior run

 
Who are we looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

2. Ability to review and interpret 2D/3D mechanical drawings; experience working with design teams

3. Experience in leading or supporting new product development, including design review and cross-functional collaboration, and feasibility to come out real finish goods
