Engineer & Operations Support Positions | Onsite Interview Event

Levels: Engineer & Senior Engineer Scope: All production functions supporting electronics and automotive products

Delta Electronics Thailand is building a talent pool of engineering and operations professionals ahead of our upcoming Onsite Careers Day.
This event covers open Engineer-level roles across all functions.

Interview Location Delta Electronics – Bangpoo Plant, Samut Prakan

Important Note Pre-screening is mandatory. Only candidates who pass the pre-screening stage will receive an onsite interview invitation.

Open Positions & Job Descriptions

1. Automation Engineer

  • Design, program, and maintain automated production equipment (PLC, robotics, conveyor/vision systems)
  • Troubleshoot automation line downtime and improve OEE
  • Collaborate with process/mechanical teams on new equipment integration
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechatronics/Electrical/Automation Engineering; PLC programming (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar); 1–5 yrs experience in manufacturing automation

2. Factory Sales

  • Manage customer accounts related to plant production capacity and delivery
  • Coordinate between customers and internal production/planning teams on forecasts, orders, and issue resolution
  • Support quotations, contract terms, and customer visits
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Business/Engineering; sales or account management experience in manufacturing/electronics preferred; strong English communication

3. Industrial Engineer

  • Conduct time & motion studies, line balancing, and capacity planning
  • Improve manufacturing efficiency, layout, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Develop standard work instructions and process flow documentation
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering; knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, line balancing tools; 1–5 yrs experience

4. Mechanical Engineer

  • Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical components/jigs/fixtures for production
  • Support tooling design, DFM/DFA reviews, and prototype validation
  • Work with cross-functional teams on NPI (new product introduction)
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering; CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD); manufacturing background preferred

5. Material Control

  • Manage inventory levels, material flow, and warehouse coordination
  • Monitor stock accuracy, cycle counts, and shortage/excess resolution
  • Coordinate with procurement, planning, and production on material readiness
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering or related; ERP/SAP experience preferred; strong organizational skills

6. Production Supervisor

  • Oversee daily shop-floor operations, manpower allocation, and shift performance
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety compliance are met
  • Coach and manage production line teams/operators
  • Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related; supervisory experience in manufacturing; leadership skills

7. Production Planning

  • Develop production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity
  • Balance material availability, machine capacity, and delivery timelines
  • Monitor plan attainment and coordinate adjustments with production/material teams
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain; planning software/ERP experience; analytical skills

8. Product Engineer (Electrical/Electronics)

  • Support product design transfer from R&D to mass production
  • Analyze and resolve electrical/electronic product quality and reliability issues
  • Coordinate engineering changes (ECN/ECR) and documentation updates
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; circuit design or product engineering experience in electronics manufacturing

9. Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional project teams for new product introduction or process improvement
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risk, and stakeholder communication
  • Track project milestones and ensure on-time delivery
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Engineering/related field; project management experience in manufacturing; PMP a plus

10. Test Engineer (Electrical/Electronics)

  • Develop and maintain test procedures, fixtures, and equipment for electrical/electronic products
  • Analyze test failures and drive root-cause corrective actions
  • Support product qualification and reliability testing
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering; experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, ATE); troubleshooting skills

11. SMT Engineer

 

  • Manage SMT line processes (reflow, printing, placement) for optimal yield and quality
  • Troubleshoot SMT defects (solder issues, placement accuracy) and drive process improvements
  • Support new product introduction on SMT lines, program machine parameters
  • Requirements: Bachelor's in Electronics/Industrial Engineering; SMT process experience; knowledge of IPC standards preferred
