Delta Electronics (Thailand) Powers ATTRIC with Advanced EV Charging to Accelerate Thailand’s Clean Mobility Future

CHACHOENGSAO — October 22, 2025 —  Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and IoT-based smart green solutions announced the donation of advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure to the Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI). The installation was unveiled at Automotive and Tyre Testing, Research and Innovation Center (ATTRIC) ’s Grand Opening Ceremony, reinforcing Thailand’s ambition to become a leader in sustainable mobility and automotive innovation.

Dr. Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Minister of Industry, and Mr. Nattapon Rangsitphon, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, visited the ATTRIC facility and witnessed Delta’s donation of EV chargers, highlighting the government’s strong support for public–private collaboration in advancing Thailand’s EV ecosystem.

Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Electronics (Thailand) remarked “ATTRIC is a cornerstone for the future of Thailand’s automotive industry. By equipping this world-class facility with Delta’s UFC 200 ultra-fast charger and AC MAX smart chargers, we ensure that vehicles tested here meet the highest global standards of performance and safety. This collaboration reflects our shared mission to drive innovation while advancing the transition to clean and sustainable transportation.”

Delta Ultra Fast Charger

Mr. Anusorn Nueangpholmak, Chairman of the Thailand Automotive Institute, stated: "We are delighted to receive this ultra-fast EV charging station, which serves as a key infrastructure for reference in the compliance test of Electric Vehicle ecosystem at the ATTRIC”. This collaboration not only enhances our capacity to conduct the world-class EV testing but also provides both local and international manufacturers with more convenient access to testing services within Thailand, ultimately reducing time and saving cost associated with overseas testing. Moreover, this supports the growth of Thailand’s EV research and innovation ecosystem, driving the Thai automotive industry towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future. We are honored to partner with Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited on this path of innovation and infrastructure development, which supports Thailand’s goal of becoming a regional hub for electric vehicles and automotive innovation. We sincerely hope that this collaboration will serve as the starting point for further joint development.

The donation consists of one UFC 200 Ultra-Fast DC Charger, capable of delivering up to 200 kW of power with dynamic load management to support simultaneous vehicle charging. Its high-voltage capacity of up to 920 V and secure authentication options such as RFID and credit card access make it ideally suited for demanding test environments. In addition, Delta is providing two AC MAX chargers, each offering 22 kW AC output with advanced connectivity and industry-leading safety standards, ensuring reliable and flexible charging for everyday use. These systems provide ATTRIC with a full spectrum of charging capabilities, enabling up to four vehicles to charge simultaneously in practical EV use.

ATTRIC, located on a 1,235-rai site in Lat Krating, Sanam Chai Khet district of Chachoengsao Province, sits within Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The facility features a full proving ground for testing vehicle safety, dynamics, and performance across diverse conditions. With Delta’s charging systems integrated into its operations, ATTRIC can now offer manufacturers, regulators, and researchers a complete ecosystem where EVs are assessed under practical charging conditions alongside traditional automotive tests.
