Delta Showcases DC and AC EV Charging Solutions at Automotive Summit 2019

Bangkok, Thailand, June 19-20, 2019- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. showcased its portfolio of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging products and solutions at the Automotive Summit 2019 at BITEC, Bangkok. Delta highlighted its DC Wallbox Charger and AC Mini Plus Charger to the gathering of top global automotive companies and academics.

At the event, Mr. Kittisak Ngoenngokngam, Delta SEA Business Director, highlighted how Delta’s AC Mini Plus and DC EV chargers like the DC Wallbox fit into Thailand’s evolving EV charging infrastructure. Users can use Delta’s charging solutions provide for convenient and powerful charging at home, workplace and roadside stations. This gives Thailand’s EV drivers the confidence to venture anywhere in the country with freedom from range anxiety.

Visitors to Delta’s booth could also learn how the modular and future-proof system design of Delta’s chargers offers both compatibility and low total cost of ownership (TCO) for fleet and private EV applications. In addition, Delta’s DC chargers can charge both CCS and CHAdeMO standard EVs, feature an embedded RFID card reader for user authentication and have an LCD screen touchscreen to provide a user-friendly charging experience.

During the summit, Delta was recognized with an appreciation award for its contributions to Thailand’s EV charging development. The award was presented to Mr. Kittisak, who represented Delta, by Mr. Adisak Rohitasune, Acting President of the Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI).
