Delta Showcases Green Solutions at Australian Energy Storage 2019

Sydney, Australia, June 13-14, 2019– Delta Electronics (Australia) Pty Ltd showcased its portfolio of electric vehicle (EV) charging products and solutions at Australian Energy Storage 2019 at Sydney’s International Convention Centre. Delta highlighted its DC Wallbox 25kW compact quick charger and AC Mini Plus home charger.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Matti Dinklemeyer, Delta Australia E-Mobility & Energy Storage Solutions Manager, said, “At this show, Delta has done a lot to demystify EV charging for the public. A lot of people are excited to learn that it’s really not that hard to do. There are only two types of electric power for charging-AC and DC-and Delta provides excellent solutions for both. Vehicle users and fleet operators will all benefit from the smart charging capabilities already build into Delta’s EV chargers that help to future proof their investments.”

Charging station operators were impressed with the efficiency and versatility of Delta’s DC Wallbox EV dual charger. With 94% efficiency and both CCS and CHAdeMO standard output charging capability, the DC Wallbox delivers up to 100-150km of additional range per charging hour. In addition, the DC Wallbox charger’s communication functions and RFID user authentication allow it to support both public and private charging applications.

Attendees looking for a smaller-scale solution were introduced to the Delta AC Mini Plus, an installation-friendly charger with Type-1 and Type-2 charging interfaces. This AC charger has a sleek and smart design with IP55 and IK08 casing for indoor and outdoor environments. Operators can easily integrate the charger with a backend system to provide charging solutions for residential and workplace applications.

Delta also highlighted its 7kW residential charger and 25kW entry level DC charger that compliments any fleet installation and enables a broader range of installation possibilities. As the renewable energy sector matures, more users will be keen to integrate residential EV charging into their existing solar and home energy storage systems.

In addition to the showcase, Mr. Dinkelmeyer, spoke at the event’s Zero Emission Transport Conference about the future of EV charging technology and Delta’s advanced EV charging products that support global automotive brands.

As a green solutions provider with global R&D and manufacturing, Delta leverages its core competencies in power management to support the development of renewable energy solutions in Australia. Delta’s focus on zero emissions e-mobility and integrated green solutions helps it continually deliver on its brand promise: Smarter. Greener. Together.
