Delta Electronics Donates 1,300 LED Light Tubes to Four Schools in Chiang Rai

June 4, 2014, Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL donated 1,300 LED T8 tubes to four schools in Chiang Rai namely Kwang Fu School, Hsin Hua High School, Tatung High School & Mae Sai Vocational Education School.

Delta staffs were also present to help to install the LED lights in the schools’ compounds including their main halls. Due to the lights’ high efficacy, replacing conventional T8 LED tubes with Delta’s T8 LED light tubes will help to cut down electricity consumption by at least 50% in addition to providing a much longer product lifetime of up to 50,000 hours. Delta T8 LED light tubes can directly replace conventional T8 fluorescent tubes and 90% of the product’s compositions are made up of recyclable materials that contribute to a better environment. To ensure the schools understand the benefits of the product and its importance to the conservation of the environment, Delta’s team further provided a brief training and demonstration on the handling and installation of the LED product to the teachers and students.
