Delta Thailand Extends a Helping Hand for Nan’s Recovery After the Floods

Bangkok - September 18, 2026 – Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, has donated 1,000,000 baht through the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross, to aid recovery efforts in Nan province, Northern Thailand. The contribution aims to help ease the hardship facing flood-affected communities as they work to restore their homes and return to everyday life after the floodwaters have receded.

Mr. Jackie Chang, President and Chief Operating Officer of Delta Electronics (Thailand), said, “For families facing the aftermath of flooding, recovery continues long after the water has receded. Cleaning up damaged homes and restoring daily life takes time, resources and continued support. We are committed to standing alongside Thai communities during this difficult period. Through this contribution of 1,000,000 baht to the Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation, we hope to complement the government’s efforts and the foundation’s work to help more than 15,000 households in Nan to regain stability.”

Heavy rainfall and rapid runoff from surrounding mountains brought severe flooding to Nan, damaging homes, roads and essential infrastructure. As the water receded, local residents faced mud and debris inside their homes, damaged belongings and disruptions to basic services. The work ahead includes clearing and cleaning living spaces, repairing damage and restoring daily routines, tasks that place additional strain on these families.

This initiative builds on Delta’s efforts to help disaster-affected communities across Thailand. Earlier this year, the company announced a donation of funds and essential medical equipment valued at 5,455,040 baht for Hat Yai Hospital’s restoration following flooding in Southern Thailand.

Having grown alongside Thai society for nearly four decades, Delta remains committed to promoting the well-being of the communities it serves. The company continues to advance the social dimension of its ESG commitments through initiatives that address community needs in a timely manner, and aims to play a part in reducing the risks and impacts of climate-related disasters and to contribute to a stronger, more resilient Thai society.
