Delta Thailand Launches Industrial Automation Training Center to Advance Thailand's Future Industrial Workforce

Bangkok, June 19, 2026Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, launched its Industrial Automation Training Center at Delta Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Thailand, to strengthen industry-ready skills among vocational students and support the development of Thailand’s future industrial workforce. The event was held alongside a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), underscoring a shared commitment to developing future-ready talent and strengthening Thailand's industrial workforce for the era of smart manufacturing.

This center was established with a clear vision: to create a modern learning environment where vocational students can gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies and real industrial applications. It will serve as a platform for young people to develop practical skills and create new opportunities for their future careers in Thailand's growing industrial sector," Mr. Chang added.

Key highlights of the event included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Delta Electronics Thailand and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), a certificate presentation ceremony for the first batch of 30 student trainees, and the official opening of Delta's Industrial Automation Training Center. Together, these milestones reflect a shared commitment to advancing vocational education, developing industry-ready talent, and strengthening Thailand's future industrial workforce.

The Industrial Automation Training Center serves as a learning hub for Higher Vocational Certificate (Diploma) students from educational institutions in Samut Prakan and across Thailand, providing opportunities to learn directly from Delta Thailand's experts and gain exposure to real-world industrial technologies.

Developed and delivered by Delta Thailand's Industrial Automation Business Group (IABG) specialists with guidance from faculty members of Samut Prakan Technical College, the three-day training program covers key areas including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, industrial robotics, machine troubleshooting, and simulation-based learning. The program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on industrial practice to prepare students for careers in the era of smart manufacturing.

The center is the result of close collaboration among multiple teams within Delta Electronics Thailand, educational institutions, and industry experts. Delta Thailand's Human Resources team, including Employer Branding and Learning & Development functions, played a key role in learning design and collaboration with educational partners. The program is fully sponsored by Delta Thailand and offered at no cost to participating students.

As demand for automation and industrial technology talent continues to grow, Delta Thailand plans to recruit more than 100 vocational graduates for technical positions over the next year reinforcing its commitment to workforce development and expanding career opportunities for young talent in the country.
