Vietnam Tech Leaders and Academics Visit Delta Electronics Taiwan to Explore Semiconductor and Technology Infrastructure

On 30 January 2026, Delta Electronics hosted a delegation from Vietnam, alongside representatives from Digitimes Taiwan, at its Ruiguang Headquarters in Taiwan. The afternoon visit formed part of the delegation’s programme in Taipei, which focuses on gaining insights into semiconductor development and the broader technology ecosystem.

The delegation comprised 40 representatives from Vietnam’s Policy Advisory Council, National Innovation Centre (NIC), government agencies and ministries overseeing digital transformation, as well as senior academics from leading universities, including Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam National University, the University of Industry and many others.

As a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, Delta Electronics shared perspectives on energy-efficient power infrastructure and related technologies that support semiconductor manufacturing, AI and digital systems.

As part of the programme, Nguyen Viet Dung, Country Manager of Delta Electronics Vietnam, delivered a presentation introducing Delta’s brand development and business portfolio. He highlighted Delta’s strong commitment to research and development, with a percentage of annual revenue invested in R&D, and outlined potential areas for collaboration with Vietnam’s research community and technical universities.

The delegation also participated in a showroom tour hosted by Delta’s Corporate Communications team in Taiwan. The tour highlighted Delta’s foundation in power management, including its early involvement in chip-related manufacturing, and traced the company’s development into a diversified global technology provider. Visitors were introduced to Delta’s current portfolio of solutions spanning electric vehicle charging, data center infrastructure, building automation, industrial automation, and energy management.

The session at Delta provided the delegation with practical insights into the business model of a Taiwan-based technology company and its role in supporting the development of AI-driven data centers and the broader semiconductor industry.
