Delta Thailand and DIPROM Launch Angel Fund Connect 2025 to Propel Thai Startups Toward Global Growth

Bangkok, March 3, 2025Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. a global leader in power management and IoT-based smart green solutions, in partnership with the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIPROM), officially launched the Angel Fund Connect 2025 at Best Western Hotel, Chatuchak on March 3, 2025. Renamed to mark its 10th anniversary, the program continues to support Thai Startups by providing financial support, industry partnerships, and real-world testing opportunities to Thai startups, helping them scale their businesses, refine innovations, and expand into international markets.

Mr. Victor Cheng, CEO of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL, emphasized the program’s impact beyond financial support: “Angel Fund Connect is designed to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world application. By providing funding, industry collaboration, and marketing expertise, we help startups turn their ideas into scalable businesses that drive economic and technological progress.”

Since its inception in 2016, Angel Fund Connect has embarked on a 10-year journey of empowering startups, supporting over 207 ventures with more than 33.16 million THB in funding. The program has generated over 350 million THB in economic value, facilitated 115 million THB in business expansion, and created 927 new jobs. Last year’s winner, iCreativeSystems, developed an Aircraft Drone Solution that enables long-distance navigation through a portable control station. This innovation supports aerial surveillance, remote medical supply deliveries, and security monitoring, showcasing the potential of Thai startups to create high-impact, scalable solutions.

The program is led by Mr. Dusit Anantarak, Deputy Director-General of DIPROM, and is designed to strengthen Thailand’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by fostering market expansion, proof-of-concept testing, and investment readiness. With 5 million THB in funding from Delta Electronics (Thailand) including 4 million THB for startups and 1 million THB for content creators, the program not only provides financial backing but also integrates digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

The 2025 program highlights the pressing need for technological solutions to address global challenges, particularly climate change and environmental sustainability. Startups are encouraged to develop innovations that contribute to safer, healthier environments and long-term economic resilience. By emphasizing clean technology, green energy, and digital transformation, Angel Fund Connect 2025 supports entrepreneurs in building businesses that are both commercially viable and socially impactful.

A new Proof of Concept (PoC) initiative, allowing startups to validate their solutions in real-world conditions before scaling. The program also strengthens content marketing efforts through TikTok Thailand and the Thai Influencer Trade Association, helping startups amplify their reach. Additionally, Media Tank (Shark Tank Thailand) provides direct exposure to investors, increasing funding opportunities beyond the program’s grants.
