Bangkok, Thailand – January 30, 2025 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and IoT-based smart green solutions continues to set benchmarks in sustainable development. At the “Green Gold Growth for Sustainability: Governance for a Sustainable Future.” awards ceremony organized by the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Delta Bangpoo received the 1 Green Star and 1 Gold Star awards for the 9th consecutive year, while Delta Wellgrow achieved the same distinction for the 7th consecutive year.

The awards ceremony, held on January 24th at the World Ballroom, Centara Grand at CentralWorld, brought together government officials, business leaders, and community representatives under the theme of “Green Gold Growth for Sustainability: Governance for a Sustainable Future.” It celebrated businesses excelling in environmental governance and fostering trust and cooperation with their surrounding communities.
Mr. Sumet Tangprasert, Director and Acting Governor of IEAT, commended the awardees for their outstanding commitment to environmental governance, evaluated across five key dimensions: physical, economic, environmental, social, and managerial.

This year, 177 factories received the Green Star White Flag, while 51 facilities were honored with the Gold Star White Flag for consistently maintaining excellence for six years or more.
Among the recipients, Delta Thailand was recognized for its continued commitment to sustainability. Mr. Yongyuth Pakdoungjan accepted the award on behalf of Bangpoo, which received both a Green Star and a Gold Star for the ninth consecutive year. Similarly, Mr. Surasit Pheepimai, Government and Public Affairs Manager, represented Wellgrow, which earned a Green Star and a Gold Star for the seventh consecutive year.
The IEAT’s Environmental Governance program, launched in 2007, has played a pivotal role in advancing sustainable industrial practices across Thailand. By involving communities and stakeholders in its evaluation processes, the program ensures transparency and builds trust in the environmental stewardship of industrial estates. This year’s awards reflect the growing importance of aligning industrial growth with global sustainability goals.
