Delta Donates to Chachoengsao Province for COVID-19 Prevention and Offers Booster Vaccinations

Chachoengsao, Thailand, January 22, 2022 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited donated 100,000 THB for COVID-19 prevention at Bangpakong District in Chachoengsao Province. Delta also launched a COVID-19 vaccination drive to offer third dose booster shots to up to 4,500 employees at its factory in Wellgrow Industrial Estate, Chachoengsao Province.

In 2022, the Omicron COVID-19 variant has raised the number of caseloads in Thailand and put stress on local healthcare resources. Delta continues to support the Chachoengsao Provincial Social Security Office’s COVID-19 prevention efforts and the national vaccination program. With an almost 100% employee vaccination rate, Delta now offers third dose booster shots on a voluntary basis to protect employees and communities in Thailand.

Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta Thailand President, represented the company to present the donation to the Chachoengsao Provincial Social Security Office for COVID-19 prevention. This follows a previous donation of 100,000 THB and the opening of Delta Plant 7 as a COVID-19 vaccination site on July 15, 2021.

Delta Booster Vaccination

In addition, Mr. Jackie Chang demonstrated Delta’s commitment to Thailand’s vaccination program by personally receiving a third dose booster shot with 1,500 employees in the first round of COVID-19 booster shot vaccinations. Delta's latest vaccination drive aims to offer booster shots to 1,500 employees every week for three weeks to all employees in Chachoengsao Province who request booster vaccination.

As a sustainable company in Thailand, Delta commits to protecting people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, Delta donated 10,500 DC brushless blowers from its Chachoengsao factory to support the development and production of a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for Thailand’s frontline COVID-19 medical personnel.
