Delta Hosts Industrial Automation Training Workshop for Ministry of Industry Officials

Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. held a special industrial automation training workshop for a group of 11 officials from the Ministry of Industry Department of Industrial Works (DIW). Held at the Delta headquarters, the workshop aimed to train local industry experts in Delta’s efficient and practical industrial automation solutions that boost the competitive performance of Thailand’s entrepreneurs and enterprises.

The workshop provided the DIW officials with basic skills to identify automated machinery concepts using Delta’s Programmable logic controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), variable-frequency drive (VFD) and Servo products. Mr. Kasemson Kreuatorn, Delta’s Senior Regional Manager for Industrial Automation, taught the trainees basic integration of Delta’s PLC with HMI and drives.

In this basic course, trainees also discovered how Delta’s automation products can be part of a greater Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) ecosystem that leverages DIACloud communications, control and field devices for factory processes and building management. Delta uses original in-house solutions on its own highly-automated Delta Smart Manufacturing (DSM) production lines.
