Samutprakarn, Thailand, May 6, 2018 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. signed an MOU with Kabinburi Technical College to offer continuing education degree courses to Delta employees. Kabinburi Technical College in Prachinburi Province one of the key educational institutes that train skilled manpower to support Thailand’s industrial development. Mr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Delta Executive Director, welcomed Mr. Sirapob Wongsapas, Community Academic Service Department Deputy Manager, to the signing ceremony held at Delta’s headquarters in Samutprakarn.
This employee education project will enhance Delta employees’ career paths and fulfill the college’s goal to develop quality education to bridge the gap in skilled labor in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) industrialized provinces of Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong. Kabinburi Technical College teachers will teach business administration to 50 Delta employees registered in the first class on weekends at the Delta training center.
This project is part of Delta’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) for inclusive and fair education and promote lifelong learning opportunities. Besides vocational training, the company sets up a variety of educational programs that enrich employees and Thai society. These include language training courses, scholarships and the Delta Industrial Automation Academy.
Delta considers human resources to be its greatest asset and supports training for its employees. The continuing education courses will offer Delta employees accredited certification that opens new career paths for them in the Industry 4.0 era.
