SCG Chemicals and Delta Discuss Solar Energy Solutions

Samutprakarn, Thailand, March 16, 2018 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed delegates from the SCG Chemicals Co., Ltd. Rayong and Bangkok offices to Delta headquarters at Samutprakarn. SCG Chemicals is a petrochemical subsidiary and core businesses of the largest and oldest cement and building material company in Thailand-Siam Cement Group. Mr. Chatree Kettong, SCG Chemicals Energy Manager, led the visiting delegation to investigate Delta products and solutions, for SCG Chemicals new floating solar farm solution for industrial estates, and to discuss collaboration between both companies. Mr. Kittisak Ngoenngokngam, Delta SEA Business Director, showcased Delta renewable energy solutions and highlighted the lightweight and small footprint Delta RPI M50A 50KW PV inverter, with peak efficiency up to 98.6%, used on the Delta headquarters rooftop solar energy system. 

While discussions between the companies are still underway, the high efficiency of Delta solar power solutions presents exciting possibilities for SCG Chemical’s new business by guarantying the mass production of affordable renewable energy. As part of its diversification plan to expand into non-petrochemical businesses, SCG Chemical leveraged its buoy products to launch a pilot floating solar farm on RIL industrial estate reservoir in Map Thaput, Thailand. Delta welcomes collaboration with leading Thai companies like SGC Chemicals and leverages a global R&D network and best-in-class energy technology to position itself as a green solutions leader in Thailand.
