Delta Subsidiary Awarded ISO9001:2015 Quality Management Standard

Samutprakarn, Thailand, April 20, 2018 - Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. subsidiary Delta Green Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard ISO9001:2015 for quality management systems in its infrastructure and green solutions businesses. The upgraded ISO standard certifies the company’s quality management principles including a strong customer focus, motivation and implication of top management, effective process approach and continual improvement. Mr. Vichai Saksuriya, Delta Operations Vice President, and Mr. Curtis Ku, Delta Regional Business Director, received the certificate on behalf of Delta from Mr. Chatvithai Tantraporn, TÜV SÜD Thailand General Manager, at the company headquarters in Samutprakarn. The German company TÜV SÜD is a leading technical service corporation catering to the industry, mobility and certification segments.
 
As part of the ISO 9000 family of standards, the ISO 9001:2015 standard sets out the criteria for a quality management system that ensures customers consistently get good quality products and services. The updated standard’s unique focus on risk-based thinking enhances Delta’s risk assessment and effective identification of opportunities to improve its processes. The standard will boost Delta’s market expansion in infrastructure businesses, especially in the Mission Critical Infrastructure Solutions (MCIS) and green solutions segments.
