Delta Hosts Global Automotive Suppliers at Delta EV Supplier Summit 2018

Bangkok, Thailand, March 22, 2018 – Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. held the Delta EV Supplier Summit Day 2018 at the Le Méridien Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok Golf Resort & Spa. The main aims of the summit were to inform the decision makers from Delta’s key automotive suppliers of the latest developments in the company’s Electric Vehicle (EV) and Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) businesses and to share its vision for accelerating its investment in the EV business; and strengthening its partnerships with suppliers for greater growth.

Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, President of Delta, welcomed the attendees and introduced Delta as one of the leading providers of power management products and solutions with a global R&D and manufacturing network which it leverages to expand in the automotive industry. Mr. Steve Liu, Sales Manager for EVSBG, followed up with an overview of Delta’s overall EV market, focusing on the company’s new product roadmap for the China and US markets. He then shared Delta’s future vision in EV powertrain and power-electronics integration trends. In addition, Delta management from sustainable development , procurement, materials and production gave presentations to update suppliers on the current status and future developments of their respective areas. After the presentations, Delta held a Q&A session and discussion with its suppliers. To conclude the summit, Delta gave several of its suppliers a tour of the highly automated Delta Automotive Plant in Bangpoo Industrial Estate.

The Delta EV Supplier Summit Day 2018 was a success as the event received many positive responses and constructive feedbacks from the attendees.
