Amata Corporation CEO Vikrom Kromadit Visits Delta

Samutprakarn, Thailand, August 3, 2017 – Mr. Vikrom Kromadit, Chief Executive of Amata Corporation PCL. and Chairman of the Amata Foundation paid a visit to Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. head office in Bangpoo. Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, President of Delta, and Delta’s representatives were present to welcome Mr. Vikrom and accompanied him and his team on a plant tour.

During the plant tour, Delta’s representative introduced the company’s sustainable operation and state of the art production lines to Amata’s team. Mr. Curtis Ku, Regional Senior Director for Delta’s Infrastructure Group, further explained that Delta is well positioned to support the Eastern Economic Corridor and Thailand 4.0 initiatives with its many industrial solutions including Energy Storage Solution (ESS), Solar Energy Solution and Datacenter Infrastructure Solution.

With regard to Delta’s technological expertise and Amata’s know-how in building industrial estates, both teams had an in-depth discussion on promoting datacenter and renewable energy solutions in CMLV region. Mr. Vikrom is especially interested in the possible collaboration between the two companies in developing Amata Nakorn in Chouburi province into a smart city. Opportunities are also abound for both companies in Amata City in Vietnam and the Indochina region since Thailand is widely known as the region’s IT gateway due to its well established IT infrastructure. Other topic discussed included Amata’s vision in transforming and developing ASEAN industrial estates into science cities with universities where technological development and advanced infrastructure become integral parts of daily operation.
