DET Flooding Letter no. 1-2013

October 14, 2013

Dear Esteemed Customers and Officials,

THAILAND FLOODING SITUATION UPDATE AND ACTIONS

Please be informed that Delta factories are currently operating normally with inbound and outbound shipments running as usual.

According to Thai government information, current flooding situation is not as serious as of year 2011. With winter drawing near, rainfall volume is reducing while the government is taking measures to drain out excess water from the affected areas into Bangpakong River.

Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. has two factories located in Bangpoo Industrial Estate and one factory located in Wellgrow Industrial Estate. Both industrial estates are more than 100km away from the affected areas and are under close surveillance by the government and the industrial estate’s Disaster Prevention Teams. Moreover, we do not expect such flooding to have significant impact, if any, on Delta factories due to the fact that Delta factories are built 2m above the main road.

With the experiences built up from year 2011 flooding crisis and the company’s proven contingency plan, we would like to assure you that our business operations including Material Supply, Manufacturing and Logistic processes are well under control.

Delta is continuously monitoring the situation. If there is any significant change in the situation, we will keep you posted accordingly. Thank you for your attention and understanding.

Yours sincerely,

Mr. Henry Shieh
President
Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL.
