Delta Electronics (Thailand) Honored at Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025 for Smart Factory Excellence

BANGKOK, September 30, 2025Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and smart green solutions, announced today it has been honored at the inaugural Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025, with the Smart Factory Excellence accolade. At the event, Mr. Victor Cheng, Chief Executive Officer of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL., and Mr. Tyler Wei, Head of Manufacturing Operations 2 of Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL., accepted the industry 4.0 Recognition Award from Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI). The award honored Delta’s achievement in advancing toward a Smart Factory through the integration of IoT, automation, and AI technologies strengthening its position as a leader in digital transformation and Industry 4.0 manufacturing.

Government agencies also contributed to the recognition of outstanding enterprises, with Mrs. Buppha Kawinwasin, Deputy Governor (Sustainable Development), represented IEAT and extend congratulations to the awardees, showing the joint commitment between the public and private sectors to accelerate Thailand’s industrial development.

The ceremony, presided over by Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, included a keynote address and award presentations. Professor Dr. Chookiat Limpijumnong, President of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), presented the program’s objectives. Senior executives from government, industry, entrepreneurs, and partners were in attendance, signaling broad national momentum in strengthening industrial competitiveness through digital innovation.

The Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards 2025 facilitates Thailand’s advancement as a regional center for high-tech manufacturing. As the first edition of the award ceremony, Industry 4.0 Recognition Awards honored enterprises that excel in applying advanced technologies to accelerate the transition to Smart Factories. Selection was based on the Thailand i4.0 Index, with 25 enterprises recognized nationwide, including eight located within industrial estates, demonstrating Thailand’s growing adoption of Industry 4.0 practices. The event, hosted at the Carlton Grand Ballroom, Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit, highlighted how innovation, technology integration, and sustainability are shaping the factories of the future.
