BANGKOK, September 19, 2025 – Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL., has received the Climate Action Excellence Prize at the Climate Action Awards 2025, hosted by the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) during the CCI Climate Change Forum 2025 at M Tower Phra Khanong, Bangkok. This is the first time Delta has been honored with this prestigious award, a recognition of the company’s steady progress on its sustainability journey.
The award ceremony was led by the Climate Change Institute of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) to recognize corporations with outstanding leadership in climate action and measurable contributions to society. The prize was presented by Mr. Kittiphong Limsuwannarot, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Climate Change Pillars of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), and accepted by Mr. Saroj Ruangsakulraj, Senior Energy Management Manager, on behalf of Delta, together with the company’s Energy Management Department. Delta shared the honor with leading Thai corporations including major Thai corporations including PTT Group, Bangchak Corporation, and EGAT.
Delta earned this recognition through its ambitious climate commitments and concrete progress toward carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions. Its parent company, Delta Electronics, Inc., is the first in Asia’s technology hardware and equipment sector to achieve validation under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Net-Zero Standard, and only the 125th company worldwide to pass this rigorous review. Delta has committed to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 90 percent and Scope 3 emissions by 25 percent by 2030, with an overall 90 percent reduction across all scopes targeted by 2050, using 2021 as the baseline
To move toward these goals, Delta is driving a broad climate action program. Examples include the transition to 100 percent renewable electricity by 2030 under RE100, the conversion of its fleet to zero-emission vehicles through EV100, and the adoption of ultra-low GWP refrigerants in operations. The company is also enhancing energy efficiency across facilities, promoting sustainable supply chain practices, and applying an internal carbon pricing mechanism that reinvests revenue into plants and R&D. These efforts represent part of Delta’s comprehensive approach to reducing environmental impact and advancing a low-carbon future.
Winning the Climate Action Excellence Prize for the first time reinforces Delta’s leadership in sustainable industry and underlines its vision to integrate innovation, environmental responsibility, and social progress. By moving decisively toward carbon neutrality and net-zero emissions while engaging in global climate initiatives, Delta is committed to creating lasting value for stakeholders and supporting Thailand’s transition to a resilient, low-carbon economy.
