Delta Electronics to Establish Vietnam Subsidiary

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, April 15, 2020 – Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. announced via the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) that it will establish a new subsidiary in Vietnam following its Board of Directors Meeting held at the company headquarters in Samutprakarn, Thailand. 

Delta Thailand’s Board of Directors announced it will officially establish the new Vietnam subsidiary within the second or third quarter of 2020. The 100 percent-owned subsidiary of Delta Thailand will be incorporated in Vietnam with registered capital of USD 500,000.  The nature of the new company’s business will be trade and solutions businesses with Delta’s electronics products, to benefit stakeholders and support local customers.

In Vietnam, Delta works with HTC-ITC, a subsidiary of Hanoi Telecom, to provide users in Vietnam with better connectivity by creating an innovative data center that offers reliable, flexible and green operations. The milestone project with Delta and HTC-ITC marks the first data center installation in Vietnam with Tier 3 Uptime build standard. Since 2018, Delta sponsored Vietnam university teams to compete at the annual Delta Advanced Automation Cup with teams from Taiwan, China, Thailand, India and Holland.
