Delta Hosts the Thailand Board of Investment to Discuss Collaboration and Opportunities in the New Normal

Samutprakarn, Thailand, June 10, 2020– Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. welcomed a delegation led by Ms Sonklin Ploymee, Director of Industrial Linkage Development Division at the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), to the Delta headquarters at Samutprakarn. Both sides shared the latest developments and actions to adapt to the COVID-19 situation and discussed opportunities for increased collaboration to support Thailand’s economic recovery.

 

 

Mr. Jackie Chang, Delta President, welcomed Ms. Sonklin to Delta and invited her to introduce the BOI’s activities and resources to link major manufacturers like Delta with Thai vendors and suppliers. Delta Thailand’s procurement and manufacturing management joined to discuss the current developments, challenges and opportunities for collaboration to help Thailand’s industrial sector rebound from the pandemic.

After the discussion, the BOI delegation toured Delta’s factory and the highly-automated Delta Smart Manufacturing (DSM) production lines. Mr. Kasemson Kreuatorn, Delta’s Senior Regional Manager for Industrial Automation, presented Delta’s unique Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions combined with DIACloud communications, control and field devices for factory processes and building management.

As a major Thailand-based manufacturer and solutions provider, Delta works with the BOI and Thai partners to develop local solutions to protect medical personnel during the COVID-19 crisis. Delta leverages its industrial automation and ICT infrastructure solutions to support Thailand’s economic recovery in the new normal.
