New Delhi, India, February 21-23, 2018- Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. and its subsidiary Delta Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. participated in the 4th India-ASEAN Expo and Summit 2019, as an invitee of the Thailand Ministry of Commerce (MOC). The summit aims to bring Indian, ASEAN and global multinationals together to work jointly for a larger market, strengthen existing ties and explore new areas of collaboration in trade and investments. The Thailand MOC selected Delta as one of the outstanding Thai companies exhibiting its products and investments in India at the Thai Pavilion.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Government of India Union Minister for Commerce, Industry and Civil Aviation, and the trade ministers of ASEAN countries opened the three-day exhibition at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Mr. Prabhu praised the summit as a testimony of the Indian government’s dedication to its Act East Policy, which prioritizes relations with its East Asia neighbors, and its commitment to continue forward momentum in its deepening relationship with ASEAN.
After inaugurating the Thailand Pavilion, Ms. Chutima Bunyapraphasara, H.E Deputy Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand, visited the Delta booth with Mr. Tharadol Thongruang, The Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi Commercial Attaché. Mr. Yongyuth Pakdoungjan, Delta Human Resource Development Director, welcomed the visitors and introduced Delta’s products, solutions and operations in India.
Throughout the event, Delta India staff showcased a live demo of its Building Management Solutions offerings for more energy-efficient, smart and livable urban centers. Visitors to the booth showed a strong interest in Delta’s integrated solutions for diverse applications specific to the Indian market.
